Online CE Holiday Sales Fall for the First Time

Posted in General on January 5th, 2009 by tht

With the winter wind still blowing, and the holiday sales over, it looks like online CE sales fell for the first time.

Most stores recorded a decline in sales, with the lone exception being Wal-Mart.

This coupled with an all time low consumer confidence, made for a bleak season.

However, we at Total Home Technology are please that our custom electronic design and installation solutions are still in demand.

You wouldn’t build a house without an architect, you wouldn’t put a bathroom in without a plumber, and you wouldn’t and shouldn’t design and install a home theater or control system without a professional.

Preparing for the “Season”

Posted in General on October 20th, 2008 by tht

Now that the Red Sox are out of contention, what is the next excuse for getting that home theater.

Maybe its the Celtics, or perhaps an early start on the Holiday Season.

Either reason is respectable.

Trends this season include Blue Ray players that are really going to be more mainstream in price.  Is it worth it?  Perhaps.  Your TV may not have 1080p capability, but at least you can get some HD content.  The other option is still to get a scaling DVD player, or some other type of scaler.
